Fairport Computer Services now offers the option of 'Remote Repair' to any system that is connected to a high speed internet connection (Example: Road Runner, DSL, etc. - dialup excluded) and still has internet access capabilities. This repair/evaluation option allows our staff of computer  experts to remotely access your system and evaluate the issues your computer may be having. We will discuss with you repair options and pricing. We do not copy and/or view personal data, you see what we see when evaluating and/or repairing your system. This connection employs the high security encryption available and once the repair is completed, the ability to access your system is removed.
We can also evaluate your system for possible upgrades and/or option to increase the speed and usability of your system. (optional)

With this option, we can also look at your router and setup up wireless encryption to secure you wireless router from unauthorized access by friend, neighbors, and/or general public.

Basic requirements:
- high speed internet access and the ability to access the internet from that system
- ability to download and install remote client (which can be removed once service is completed)
- valid credit card at time of service*
